durata app. 30 min
Premièred in february 1995 at four different stages set in a large tree in the Helsingborg Town park. Yggdrasil is the Tree of Life in the Norse mythology, and the performance was inspired by tales from these stories.
Press:
“…one of the trees in the park erupted in music and dance, like an Yggdrasil in a complete artistic happening through Jeanette Solléns newly composed and mesmerizing music with song by the The Helsingborg Chamber Choire. Yggdrasil was such a powerful experience, it would have been fantastic with more re-runs to provide more [people] this same experience.”
