50 years – 50 women – 50 pictures.
Based on a comprehensive survey i CONDUCTED IN 2018-19 (THE YEAR i TURNED 50 MYSELF), I present a blend of art and ethnology, digging into the lives of 50 year-old women, in the early 2020s.
In the exhibition (currently running 17 June – 15 July at Projektrum Hjärne, Helsingborg) the material is presented through:
– A series of 50 photos of Jeanette, each illustrating her personal answer related to the specific topic.
– Personal accounts of Jeanette’s experience related to each topic/photo.
– Statistics, thoughts and quotes from the other 49 (anonymous) women and their experiences related to each topic/photo.

Exploring and depictioning the lives of 50 50 year old women.
Based on the result of a comprehensive survey aimed at 50 women in Helsingborg, Sweden, at the age of 50, the project presents facts and thoughts from a wide range of topics concerning their lives.
