ABOUT

Jeanette Sollén’s creative thougt and expression is often said to be highly recognized through out her fan of work. Whether it might be transmitted through a piece of music, a site-specific performance, a piece of art or an academic paper, her sensitivity and genuine exploration always communicates.
Time is never linear in her work, and space is never limited to the seen and heard surfaces. There is always an invitation to go beyond and expand into the constantly ongoing co-creative genesis of the universe.
Besides her own work within the field of music, performance and art,she has also been the driving force behind large scale projects in the field of art & culture.
She is also working towards a Master degree in Religious Studies at Uppsala Universitet, focusing on the field of Social Sciences of Religion, with a specific interest in rituals, media, contemporary religious expressions and theory of religion.
Born in Helsingborg, Sweden 1968.
