“Every year the Swedish Musicians’ Union (Musikerförbundet) award scholarships for further musical development. We now proudly announce the recipients of 2018, who together reflect the wide genre width amongst our members; Agnes Kofoed Christianson, Jeanette Sollén and Petter Eriksson. Three artists who all share a deep quality and a strong driving force to develop within the profession.
Jeanette Sollén is a composer and musician within avant-garde and contemporary music. She has, among other things, created about a dozen of her own music dramatic productions and invented a new genre, font pop. In June, her Italian record company Dark Companion will release a vinyl disc entitled “Ripe when yields two gentle pressure” with ten selected, remastered pieces from a variety of her work.”
